The Bay of Islands has a no discharge policy and all boats within the marina and mooring field are required to use holding tanks and on-shore facilities.

Third Party Insurance is the minimum required for all boats visiting the marina with a minimum of NZD$5,000,000 third party public liability insurance. You will need to provide a current certificate of insurance when you check into the Marina office or when confirming your berthing arrangements.

Power is 240 Volt, 50 Hz - Up to 16 meter berths= 16 amp - Over 16 meter berths:=32 amp. A current NZ Electrical Warrant of Fitness is required if the vessel is hardwired which is required to be sighted by the Marina staff or hard copy to be provided to the Marina office during registration process. The Marina office staff are able to provide more information and arrange an electrician to check your boat and issue the required certificate if needed.

International vessels arriving in New Zealand need to have a clean hull to comply with New Zealand's biofouling requirements.
